LAFAYETTE FELLOWSHIP LAUNCHED

Villa Albertine, a cultural institution of the French Embassy in the United States, announced in June the inaugural 2026–2027 class of the Lafayette Fellowship. Established under the high patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron, this prestigious fully funded graduate scholarship was awarded to 30 exceptional American students selected to pursue master's studies at leading French universities while participating in a French-American leadership and cultural exchange program.

Directors of the Lounsbery Foundation provided seed funding for this new initiative in 2025.
